His Excellency Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, visited "Tamkeen" Center for Application Development in Qassim Region, where his Excellency was briefed on the work process inside the center, recognizing the initiatives of MCIT to develop human capabilities and digital leadership, in line with the main pillars of the Kingdom's ambitious Vision 2030. Tamkeen Application Development Center employees worked to develop the company’s sustainable programs for its customers by making the most of open source technology and developing the company's various products, the latest of which was the "Nawrt" product, which aim in organizing the attendance and departure mechanism for employees according to the nature of their work inside or outside the buildings. In conclusion, Tamkeen CEO, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shaibi, thanked His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology for his visit and the support provided to develop national competencies from the youth generation of the country and for the continuous motivation of MCIT to make the Kingdom a digital environment that stimulates innovation in basic and emerging technologies and advancement in all areas of programming.
